Alpha Yoga approached Ogle. Projects to fit out a new, spacious yoga studio in Cambridge. Yoga studios provide both teachers and students a serene space in which they can connect with their spiritual self – a lot of thought has to go into the choice of materials and colours to create the right atmosphere.

The flooring in Alpha Yoga is sanded particle floorboard, known for its unique install and grooved panel edges to provide a super-strong, moisture-resistant bond. It’s also less prone to squeaking (not ideal during yoga) and peaking.

The floor was finished with an eco-friendly waterborne polyurethane – a great option for a durable but more environmentally friendly flooring coating. It gives off less fumes during application and has a clear finish.

Ply was mounted on the walls with negative detailing for aesthetics and our builders created adequate spacing for yoga mats and personal belongings.
